GP access evening & weekends
From 1st October, patients will be able to have access to GP appointments during the weekends and evenings. To book an appointment during a weekend or evening, please contact your GP practice as usual.

World Mental Health Day

WMHD is just around the corner, the theme this year is "Young people and mental health in a changing world" Please contact us and let us know what your doing in West Berkshire.
Young Adults Fibromyalgia survey

If you're somebody aged between 16-30 & have Fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, please do take part in this survey. The survey will be used to get a better understanding of how Fibromyalgia affects people. By participating you could win a £100 voucher. Come to the West Berkshire Community Hospital at 6:00pm, on Tuesday 23rd Oct for the project launch, to see who wins the voucher and to watch the BBC documentary ‘M.E. and me’

Public Health Flu Campaign

A more effective flu vaccine is available this winter; from early October, for the first time in the UK for those aged 65+ and all eligible vulnerable people. Primary school children between years 1-5 will be able to receive a nasal spray vaccine. To get your free flu vaccine contact your local GP surgery / pharmacy offering the service. Herbert Protocol

The Herbert Protocol has been launched in West Berkshire since January. If you're a carer or family member of a vulnerable person that may go missing, discover how the Herbert Protocol can help you by visiting this webpage.
