Receiving vaccine during
Ramadan does not break the "fast"
Ramadan Mubarak and blessings to everyone observing the holy month.

The British Islamic Medical Association has confirmed that the Covid Vaccine is safe and permitted for Muslims to take during Ramadan. A Covid-19 vaccine doesn't break your fast. Individuals should not delay their Covid vaccinations on the account of Ramadan.

Have a say on reforms to the Mental Health Act
In 2017 the government asked for an independent review of the Mental Health Act 1983 (MHA) to look at how it’s used and to suggest ways to improve it.

Following this review, the government proposed a wide range of changes to rebalance the MHA.

Your views on these proposed changes are now needed to help put patients at the centre of decisions about their own care.

The deadline to have a say is 11:59pm on 21st April.

Have your say on NHS Complaint Standards
The New NHS Complaint Standards are out. They set out how organisations providing NHS services should approach complaint handling.

Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman want you to let them know what you think of these Complaint Standards. #MakeComplaintsCount now by reviewing these standards, and by having your say to ensure NHS services work for everyone.
