We will be hosting our 2nd Virtual Diversity Forum via Zoom on November 10th, from 6:00pm - 7:15pm, focusing on "How Covid-19 has affected you, your family and community." 

This forum allows people to share their experience so there is learning from the communities to prevent further effects if a second surge occurs.

There will be a panel of speakers talking about how to cope with Covid-19 mentally and physically.

Healthwatch West Berkshire Virtual Thinking Together
We are holding our 5th Thinking Together event on 
19th November, 1:30pm - 3:00pm.

Due to the pandemic, we are holding this event virtually.

This event is focusing on "How Covid-19 has had an effect on your Mental Health."

Tell us about your successes, challenges and improvements, to help manage your mental wellbeing in West Berkshire.

National Maternity and Perinatal Audit
If you want to see how well your maternity unit scored compared with the national average then this tool from the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit (NMPA) will be useful.

Once you click this url, you will be taken to a webpage where you will be able to select a hospital from a drop down box, and then see the results from that Hospital.

New parents urged to have their say on available early years support via online questionnaire
New parents, healthcare staff, charities and volunteer groups encouraged to share their views on the government’s existing early years support.

Early Years Health Adviser Andrea Leadsom MP to lead new review commissioned by the Prime Minister into improving health outcomes of babies and young children.

The review will consider the barriers that impact on early years development, including social and emotional factors, and early childhood experiences.
New parents are being invited to have their say on what support they need, and how it is best delivered, so that every baby is given the best start in life, no matter what their circumstances.

Hampshire Together Virtual Focus Group
Hampshire Together are aiming to run a series of focus groups with a cross-section of the local population in north and mid Hampshire. One of the groups they wish to run is for people affected by deprivation in the Newbury/Thatcham area. This will take place on Wednesday 28 October at 4pm.

Each focus group will be run virtually via the Zoom platform and last for approximately one and a half hours. It will be chaired by a group facilitator who will help participants to engage with the session.
