Strep A and Scarlet Fever Information

There has been an increase in Strep A and Scarlet Fever cases this year, particularly in children under 10, including a small number of deaths.

Current advice to parents and carers is to remain vigilant to the signs and symptoms of strep A, but not be overly worried by the risk it can pose to very young children.
