Volunteer Invitation

Could you spare a few hours to make a difference in West Berkshire?

Healthwatch West Berkshire is looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support our community events this autumn.

Our events give local people the opportunity to share their experiences of health and social care services, find information about support available in their community, and have their voices heard.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping us create a welcoming and engaging environment.

Whether you can help at one event or several, we'd love to hear from you.

What will volunteers do?

As an Event Support Volunteer, you may help with:

• Setting up event displays, tables and information materials

• Welcoming visitors and helping them feel comfortable

• Making and serving tea, coffee and refreshments

• Talking to members of the public and encouraging conversations

• Supporting people to share their views and experiences of local health and care services

• Handing out information and signposting to relevant support

• Collecting feedback forms or helping people complete surveys

• Tidying up and clearing away at the end of the event

  
  

No specialist knowledge is required. We will provide guidance and support, and a member of the Healthwatch team will always be on hand.
