Autumn is here and Flu season is coming.
As winter approaches, it's time to get protected against flu, COVID-19, and Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Vaccination programmes begin from 1 September, offering defence against seasonal viruses

that put extra pressure on health services.
You should be getting an invite to attend a clinic soon from your GP if you are in one of the eligibility groups below.
Key eligibility groups include:
Flu vaccines (from 1 Sept): Everyone 65+, children aged 2-3 and school years Reception to Year 6, pregnant women, those with long-term conditions, carers, and care home residents
COVID-19 boosters (from 1 Oct): Adults 75+, those aged 6 months-74 with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, and frontline health workers
RSV vaccines: People aged 75-79, pregnant women from 28 weeks, and those vulnerable to chest infections
Where to get vaccinated: GP surgeries, local pharmacies, , community clinics, and maternity services all offer convenient access points.
Look at the StayWell website and the National Booking Service from 1st September.
