Are you or someone you know dissatisfied with care received from an NHS service?

Did you know The Advocacy People’s independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA) service is available to support residents across West Berkshire?

What is IHCA?

IHCA stands for Independent Health Complaints Advocacy, a free, confidential, and independent service designed to help individuals raise concerns about the NHS. This includes care received from GPs, hospitals, ambulance services, dentists, optometrists, or any NHS-funded provider.

Anyone, whether it’s you, a family member, or someone unable to act for themselves, can refer. Contact them by phone or complete the “Make a Referral” form online. Written consent is required before they can act on a complaint.

Complaints should generally be made within 12 months of the event, or from when you became aware of its impact.
