Royal Berkshire Hospital has announced the upcoming construction of a new Elective Surgical Unit, set to open in Summer 2025. This state-of-the-art facility will greatly expand the hospital's capacity to provide urological, surgical, and outpatient procedures.

The new unit will replace the current modular South Block Annexe building and will house the Urology Team while offering additional flexible space for other teams to expand their procedure activities.

The new unit will provide a cutting-edge environment for both patients and staff, and should provide a significant step in reducing the hospital's elective waiting period, allowing for quicker diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Preparation for the demolition work starts later this month (July 2024), and regular updates will be provided to keep the community informed as work progresses on this exciting project.

I tried a fertility medical care service in London London, and the staff made everything feel simple and supportive from beginning to end. https://lunafertility.co.uk/

I recently used a private gynaecology treatment and support service in London London, and the entire experience felt calm, structured, and reassuring. https://thelunaclinic.com/
